Art, community & possibility

Art & Social Impact

Art that is part of meaningful change.

My involvement in social impact extends beyond my artistic practice. Since 2010, I have contributed to educational organizations, nonprofit initiatives, mentoring programs, and collaborative communities through volunteering, creative communication, design, and professional knowledge sharing.

These experiences have shaped my understanding of the relationship between art, creativity, and society. Creative work can preserve cultural memory, communicate important ideas, connect people, and contribute to initiatives that expand opportunities.

Throughout my journey, I have participated in projects focused on education, professional development, innovation, health, and community engagement.

While each experience has taken a different form, they share a common purpose: contributing skills, time, and creative perspectives to initiatives that bring people together.

Artwork with social purpose

PulsarArt Created with Social Purpose

Pulsar is an original artwork I created with the intention of contributing to social impact initiatives.

The illustration depicts a human heart composed of elements from Brazilian nature, bringing together human anatomy and natural forms in an intricate black-and-white composition.

Pulsar has become part of my history of engagement with social causes. Different organizations have used the artwork in fundraising initiatives to help raise resources for their missions.

This experience illustrates how an artwork can preserve its authorship, artistic identity, and cultural significance while becoming part of a collective effort.

For me, Pulsar represents a connection between artistic expression and social purpose, reflecting the possibility of contributing to meaningful initiatives through art.

Nonprofit fundraising

Art for a Cause: Supporting Nonprofit Fundraising

Art can become part of a meaningful fundraising initiative when its artistic value and the purpose of the organization are both recognized and respected.

I welcome conversations with nonprofit organizations interested in artwork contributions for fundraising auctions, benefit events, or other initiatives intended to raise resources for their programs, mission, and operational needs.

My interest is in considering opportunities where an artwork can create a meaningful connection between the organization, its supporters, and the cause behind the initiative.

The Value Behind an Artwork

An artwork is more than an object offered for fundraising.

It carries research, creative vision, authorship, cultural references, and time. Its artistic value exists independently of the cause it may support.

An artwork can support a meaningful cause while retaining the value, identity, and integrity of the artistic work itself.

I believe these considerations are essential when discussing a possible artwork contribution.

A thoughtful fundraising initiative should recognize both the purpose of the organization and the creative work involved.

Every Contribution Begins with a Conversation

Artwork contributions are considered individually.

Each proposal is evaluated according to the organization's mission, the purpose of the fundraising initiative, its relationship to my artistic practice, the proposed use of the artwork, and my availability.

The possibility of a contribution, the selection of the artwork, its valuation, presentation, delivery arrangements, and any conditions of use must be discussed and agreed upon directly with me before a contribution is confirmed.

Submitting a request does not guarantee an artwork donation.

Organizations must not announce my participation, confirm an artwork contribution, or use my name or artwork in promotional materials without my prior agreement.

Any reproduction, licensing, or use of the artwork beyond the agreed fundraising initiative must be discussed and authorized separately.
